I am writting in application to the advertised position of goal scorer for Newark Hockey Clubs Mens Seconds Team.
I feel I have ample experience to bring to the team since playing from the age of 10 years old.
At the age of 32 I realise that my I have lost some pace , however I am confident that my experience more than compensates for this lack of top speed.
I have had success as both a goal keeper as well as a center forward and belive that this has enabled me to develop a keen eye for goal. This is demonstrated in a number of top goal scorer awards with a number of clubs, the highlight being a season total of 33 goals when playing for West Bridgford.
I would like to thank you for taking time to consider my application, I am available for interview most Wednesday nights however due to work commitments I am currently unavailable on either Saturday's or Sunday's. I do hope this to be a minor in-conveinence and I look forwards to discussing this exciting opportunity in more detail with you.
Unofficial team news from Newark HC Men's 2nd XI. We play every Saturday afternoon and have a lot of fun doing so but best of all we like winding people up!!
